Alix and Ben are a magical and artistic couple who traveled here from Louisiana to have a destination wedding on the coast!
Ben=Lover
Cannon Beach Florist created the ahhh-mazing bouquets with stunning succulents!
Both Alix and Ben have daughters. Ella, Rowan and Zoe are new sisters!
Love this image of Alix walking towards her beach ceremony.
The breathtaking vows on the Oregon coast. Manzanita, Oregon is one of my favorite places with Neahkahnie Mountain in the backdrop.
All the guests placed sand in a ceramic vase during the sand ceremony.
Alix and Ben are inspiring and beautiful. Both working artists and parents, their love and energy are poetic.
Alix looked stunning! Loved her dress from JCrew and her awesome necklace from Anthropologie.
Sand painting each other and their new family. One of my new favorite images of 2010.
Alix=Angel
Delicious and organic food, created with love from the amazing folks at Bread and Ocean.
Ella was loving the camera and her false mustache!
A beautiful father-daughter dance in the living room of the gorgeous private home of Ben's aunt Nancy, where the reception took place.
Kristen and Brendan are intellectual, giving, and fun! They had a short, sweet wedding at the breathtaking Portland Rose Garden.
The immensely talented Jordan with Blum did the gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere; LOVE the succulents and the cute vintage brooch.
Kristen handmade this gorgeous little pillow for their rings!
Look at the love emanating from this woman's eyes!! SUCH a sweet moment.
Proud parents and close friends and family witnessed the intimate afternoon ceremony.
The couple asked that guests leave pennies near the fountain to wish them luck in their life together! It made for a really sweet, humble monument.
Kristen & Brendan are bursting with love; I'm so thankful to have witnessed their wedding, and wish them nothing but joy and happiness for the future! K&B, hope you love your sneak peek :) xo
Rhoni and Mike are an incredibly intelligent, beautiful and kind couple and I couldn't be more happy for them both!
The rehearsal dinner at Oba! was colorful, and fun with great food and family.
The kids made a fort beneath the table to watch Sponge Bob!
The wedding day begins at The Heathman for getting ready pics of the ladies, and at the Arlington Club for the gentlemen.
Dresses and shoes and champagne- oh my! Rhoni's shoes were hand made and stunning.
Rhoni is a beautiful bride!
On to Saint James for the emotional and joyful ceremony. Song and warm light filled the church.
Love this set of pics lit by streetlight in the park blocks.
The Arlington Club is a wonderful and historic club in downtown Portland. The luscious flowers were created by the talented Kim with Geranium Lakes.
Fun with the cake cutting!
So in love and happy!
Love this pic!
Ashley and Anil are an adorable and sweet couple who love books, architecture and each other!
Kimberly and Melanie with Your Perfect Bridesmaid were awesome and made sure the day ran smoothly and beautifully!
Ashley was a stunning bride! Makeup and Hair by Face Body Beauty.
The moment the bride walks down the aisle always makes me shiver with happiness and anticipation! The cello made this moment even more powerful!
A&A incorporated both Jewish and Indian customs into their ceremony to make it more meaningful to them and their families.
The Old Church is a lovely place to have a wedding ceremony.
The happy couple and the fun wedding party walked in the park blocks for some fun pics.
The Heathman Restaurant and Hotel has a wonderful location and look, perfect for a wedding!
I love the table naming of an author and a book for centerpieces. This was a combination of both A&A's favorite books, which guests were able to read from and recite during dinner.
Shaun and Neil with Event Team Entertainment did a great job of keeping the dance floor packed and infused popular Indian music into the mix. So fun!
As Mother of the Bride, I have to say that Jessica is an extremely artistic, creative photographer. My parents were photographers and I have been in charge of Art Centers and Art Schools - Jessica is one of the best... I praise her skill and ingenuity. Thank you, Jessica.

Britt and David are a lovely couple, full of joy, creativity, and wonder. Their wedding at Lac de'Fleur Garden was whimsical and breathtaking!
Britt hand-dyed her shoes, and David wore a dapper, tailored suit from the talented folks at Duchess Clothier. The couple created stunning boutonnieres as well as her bouquet and shoe embellishment with peacock feathers and flowers from a local dahlia farm!
Lac de'Fleur Gardens is a wonderful venue, full of gorgeous flowers, peacocks, greenhouses... it's right out of some classic 19th century novel!
The bride & groom took turns dipping each other. These pics really show off their wonderful, fun sense of humor and energy!
A gem of a wedding.
Britt & David created custom lightning bugs from found wire and miniature light bulbs as wedding favors. The guests "adopted" the darling bugs!
Kids were not left out of the festivities! Britt & David are very close with their families, and the reception had croquet and putt-putt for the younger folk to play.
Lac de'Fleur has lots of gorgeous animals running around, including beautiful peacocks, a tortoise named Matilda, and their dog Tycho acted as ring-bearer!
Britt & David's wedding was breathtaking, featuring beautiful colors, a striking sense of wonderment, and family & friends. The lovely color palette of purples, oranges, blues and yellows was reminiscent of a sunset and looked amazing at the turn of Autumn. The entire day was filled with inspiring scenes, love and laughs. Travis and I had such a blast photographing them, and I'm so thankful they chose me to document their day! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek, B&D! We wish you lifetimes of happiness! xoxo

(11.09.10)Jessica,
(11.09.10)I thank you so much for the care and insight you put into these pics. I am Ben's mom. My husband and I were unable to attend the wedding as my own mom is gravely ill and was not expected to make it through that weekend. Seeing the beauty of this day and of these two precious people makes me doubly happy, as I did not get to see them married in person.
These are such wonderful pictures. You really captured the moments with them all. I am Ben's aunt. I couldn't be there, but these pictures let me know how special the day was for them all. So precious!
(11.09.10)Great pics for a great day!
