Alice and Scott's stunning wedding day was a vibrant, modern and set in the most beautiful natural venue at Bridal Veil Lakes. We started at The Nines, a boutique hotel in downtown Portland and photographed the wedding party and Alice and Scott downtown. I love that they included both urban and natural pics into their wedding schedule! Bridal Veil Lakes is seriously amazing, it's set on a mountain in the Columbia River Gorge, complete with canoes! The incredible Heather with Sorella Events, along with her great team coordinated and styled the day and Buddies created the lovely blooms. Food and Bloom catered the event, and their food was delicious! Alice and Scott's energy, their love and their laughter were contagious and oh-so-inspiring. Thank you Alice and Scott for choosing me! Thanks for second shooting Elijah :)

Ann and I met in printmaking class at University of Michigan in 2002 and I have had the pleasure of knowing her and her lovely family through the years. She's a talented artist and designer, and is actually the mastermind behind my jh logo. I was beyond happy for her to marry her wonderful soul mate, Alex, in magical wedding ceremony and toast at Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary in Barnstable and to the reception for a clam bake dinner, dancing and lantern release in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. thank you, thank you, thank you. words can't describe how happy i am for you both! big love xoxo

What makes wedding pictures like this collection very special are the unsullied moments of happiness that's captured with every shot! And I can really see that you were inspired by Malaysia's Yee Peng festival. I love it!

Mindy and James's wedding was a dreamy day from the modern room at the Nines, to their library and antler pool hall and on to the lovely Old Church for the ceremony. The reception was held under the ancient trees in the Hoyt arboretum at the rustic and charming World Forestry Center. The earthy and divine flowers were created by the talented ladies at Punch Portland. I loved the thumbprint sign-in tree greeting guests and the food from Vibrant Table was amazing! The party and music rocked all night (what you can expect from fellow UofM grads!)Thanks Liam for second shooting and thank you so much Mindy and James for choosing me to document your fun day!
