Holly and Sam | U of P and Left Bank Annex Wedding

It truly is a wonderful life, and Holly and Sam's wedding made it even more wonderful! Their wedding was a breathtaking day of magic, love, and Mike Piper! I highly recommend Mike, with An Affair to Remember for your wedding coordination and florals. Everything ran smoothly, looked incredible and truly made for an unforgettable evening of whimsy in a wintery wonderland filled with vintage details and luscious florals. I love Holly and Sam and their families and I was truly honored to document their first steps together as husband and wife. Holly looked gorgeous in her Lazaro gown from AniA Collection, and shoes from Vera Wang. Courtney Rogers did all the beautiful makeup and Heather from Dezi salon created the stunning updos. We started at The Nines, Portland's premier boutique hotel, for the getting ready and first glance. The ceremony took place at the University of Portland chapel and the reception was held at the Portland Left Bank Annex, a super unique event space. The theme of the evening was inspired by It's a Wonderful Life, the famous Frank Capra film from 1946. I loved that it was playing silently in the background throughout the evening! The talented Judy with Dream Cakes made the incredible cake and Eric Wright with All Wright Music emceed the evening and kept the dance floor packed! Vibrant Table made sure the food was perfect and delicious and Hybrid Moon filmed the evening's celebrations. The candlelit ceremony and reception warmed the guests, while Holly and Sam's amazing energy and true love filled their hearts.

Stephanie and Nathan | Timberline Lodge Wedding Photographs

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Nathan's wedding on October 1st at the historic and beautiful Timberline Lodge. Their love is so flirty-fun and poetic and I had a blast photographing this amazing couple. Stephanie looked stunning in her dress which was a beautiful Wtoo by Watters dress. Nathan and all the guys looked awesome wearing classic and timeless tuxes which I think works well for an autumn ceremony and adds a sophisticated elegance. I loved the NW flair they added with the sapling favors, the earthy colors and the super fun dancing. Michelle with Amore Fiori created all the stunning flowers. Lynn with Media Jockeys kept the flow of the party and the dancing going all night! Thanks so much Stephanie and Nathan for choosing me to photograph your stellar wedding!

Suzy and Evan | San Francisco and Pacifica Orchid Garden Wedding

Evan and Suzy... Wow! I'm lucky enough to know this incredible and talented couple and Travis and I had the absolute pleasure of documenting their wedding day in San Fran and Pacifica California. The getting ready pics took place at the Hotel Rex in downtown and the ceremony and reception were at the awe-inspiring Shell Dance Orchid Garden in Pacifica. Suzy looked stunning in her dress by Elizabeth Dye from Portland's own English Department. The flowers and gifted succulents were created by the talented team at Shell Dance. The day ran smoothly with the expert help from Cierra from Dreams on a Dime Coordination. The dinner was an incredible variety of paella and the dancing lasted all night long. The energy, the ocean, the orchids and the life that surrounded this day was a small testament to how inspiring and pure this couple is. I love you guys. Xo Thank you.

Erica and Cort | Skamania Lodge Wedding Photographs

Erica and Cort are filled with great energy and love and laughter. Their wedding at Skamania Lodge was a lot of fun and style. Even though the day was a bit rainy, we were able to get some great shots of the views of the Columbia River Gorge. I loved the orange and grey color palette and Erica and Cort looked beautiful. The party was really fun and the couple made a DIY photo booth, which kept the laughs and snaps happening. Cupcake Jones created the yummy cupcakes. Thanks so much Erica and Cort for inviting Elijah and I to document your day.

Tresa and Ted | Metolius River Weddings

umm... I'm speechless with this one. in LOVE! Tresa and Ted are an incredible couple and Erica and I had a blast photographing their day at the Metolius River Lodges and the House on the Metolius. The location was enchanting with views of Mt. Jefferson and the Cascades. The bride's lovely dress was from Ania Collection, and the groom's rad custom suit was from Duchess Clothier. Tresa and Ted used all local produce and beef and The Well Traveled Fork did a great job catering, the food was delicious! I loved the little friends the couple included in their day like their cute puppy and all the cake toppers and table place cards. Adorable! Thanks SO very much Tresa and Ted, meeting you both and photographing your wedding reminded me why I love my job so much! Thanks!
