Evan and Suzy... Wow! I'm lucky enough to know this incredible and talented couple and Travis and I had the absolute pleasure of documenting their wedding day in San Fran and Pacifica California. The getting ready pics took place at the Hotel Rex in downtown and the ceremony and reception were at the awe-inspiring Shell Dance Orchid Garden in Pacifica. Suzy looked stunning in her dress by Elizabeth Dye from Portland's own English Department. The flowers and gifted succulents were created by the talented team at Shell Dance. The day ran smoothly with the expert help from Cierra from Dreams on a Dime Coordination. The dinner was an incredible variety of paella and the dancing lasted all night long. The energy, the ocean, the orchids and the life that surrounded this day was a small testament to how inspiring and pure this couple is. I love you guys. Xo Thank you.
day one.
day two.
Ann and Alex's wedding weekend was breathtaking, with the Atlantic at their backs and the sun beaming their light within, I was continually honored and amazed with every second. Ann and I met in printmaking class at University of Michigan in 2002 and I have had the pleasure of knowing her and her lovely family through the years. She's a talented artist and designer, and is actually the mastermind behind my jh logo. I was beyond happy for her to marry her wonderful soul mate, Alex, in magical wedding ceremony and toast at Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary in Barnstable and to the reception for a clam bake dinner, dancing and lantern release in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. thank you, thank you, thank you. words can't describe how happy i am for you both! big love xoxo

(11.09.10)Jessica,
I thank you so much for the care and insight you put into these pics. I am Ben's mom. My husband and I were unable to attend the wedding as my own mom is gravely ill and was not expected to make it through that weekend. Seeing the beauty of this day and of these two precious people makes me doubly happy, as I did not get to see them married in person.
These are such wonderful pictures. You really captured the moments with them all. I am Ben's aunt. I couldn't be there, but these pictures let me know how special the day was for them all. So precious!
(11.09.10)Great pics for a great day!
