how cool is it that they decorated the tables with purple tomatillos!?

Tiffany's wedding pearls atop a photo of her grandparents on their wedding day. Adam's grandfather's pocket watch sits on the dedication table.

Tiffany is a wonderful photographer and owes a lot of her inspiration to her grandfather and his camera. We all took photos with the twin lens reflex that day and I can't wait to see what magic that film has in store.

The Puppies! Dresden, in the tux, Callie is the precious hound and Fiona is the loving lab. So cool that they could be there.

yes, it's true that Adam's sister (also the best wo-man) read The Velveteen Rabbit during the ceremony... amazing.

The dahlias were fresh from the farm, and the little Mojo favor bags included various rocks and shells collected from different parts of the world that mean something to the couple.

The Copper Creek Inn on Mt. Ranier in Ashford, Washington is an incredible place to have a wedding.

Leah and I had the great pleasure of shooting Pernilla and Alex's wedding at The lovely View Point Inn in Corbett, Oregon. Not only was this couple beautiful, so was the day! Some may think that a down pour in the middle of the ceremony would call for tears, but Pernilla was all smiles as she lead the guests indoors to finish off the I Do's beside the fireplace! The magnificent orchid centerpieces and flowers were created by Francoise Weeks. Pernilla looked absolutely stunning in her chic gown. Her hair and makeup were done by the ever-so talented Jennifer Rand-Walker of Face Body Beauty. Thank you Pernilla and Alex!  I am honored to have been invited to share in this special day and I hope you like the sneak peek!

These turned out great! What a cute couple :) I really love the last photo with the sun setting outside. We added a short clip to our blog from their wedding. It is Pernilla's mom giving a toast. It was fun working with you!

Erin and Colin's surreal day took place at the magnificent Queen Anne Victorian Mansion in North Portland. This couple is truly meant to be together forever. After knowing each other since high school and writing love notes back and forth they went their seperate ways to find each other again in good ol' Portland! (yeah for love!)  Erin looked stunning with her elegant vintage style, complete with hot red pumps and feather hair peice. Colin was looking dapper in a classic tux with white vest and fedora. Lamb's Thirftway did a great job on the cake and flowers, which incorporated deep reds and blacks into their creative color scheme with raspberries in the bouquets and black damask ribbon around the cake. The music was off the hook and the party continued into a late-night croquet playing and cigar smoking bash. Travis and I have had the amazing privlege to get to know this incredible, creative couple and we're so honored that we were there to document this breathtaking and poetic day. We love you guys fo' real:)

Thank you Libby and Kenneth for choosing me to document your rocking awesome day! Not only is this couple fun and amazing, so was the perfect weather matched with a breathtaking view! The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the The Viewpoint Inn a historic boutique hotel in Corbett, Oregon. Their wedding colors were neutral golds and taupes with hints of black, which created a classic vintage, timeless feel. The beautiful flowers were by A Floral Affair. Libby looked gorgeous in her Lea Ann Belter  gown, and Stuart Weitzman heels. Kenneth was looking sharp in a classic tux and all the guys wore fun Mexican wrestling socks from Sock It To Me! They played very cool music courtesy of The Djangophiles, whose gypsy jazz tunes were the perfect compliment to the atmosphere. All the guests marveled at the beautiful sky and the elegant surroundings while having a very memorable evening of celebration complete with fake mustaches all around! Congratulations Libby and Kenneth and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness! Enjoy the sneak peek:)
