Tora and David are a magical and inspiring couple that brought tons of creativity and DIY to their May 1st wedding.
Pretty much my favorite ring shot ever. T&D had a "heaven and earth" theme and was inspired by that for their colors and details.
These fun folks put the "party" in wedding party! Armed with umbrellas and favorite Marvel comic weaponry.
In lieu of the traditional boutineers the guys (and one groomswoman:) wore Star Trek communicators and the ladies held vintage umbrellas rather than bouquets. Totally rad.
Incredibly beautiful and fun ceremony under the trees at the Abernathy Center's Veiled Garden.
Tora made all the flags for guests to wave using iron-on transfers. These made me smile.
Complete with a rocking cake incorporating the theme, an Italian soda bar, custom made invites and programs and collections of vintage vases gathered on each table, the reception was hella cool all around!
and oh yes, they busted out the Time Warp and some air guitar... yeow!
Love this photo of R&A with the postcard stand!
We took a a few pics in their amazing waterfront loft, in the Pearl.
One of personal faves from the session!
A super hot couple!
You really captured some beautiful perspectives & great compositions. The couple looked so relaxed & comfortable with you. Nice work! And of course - LOVE the gorgeous sun flare in the last image!
(05.20.10)Great work! I love the variety. The architecture you incorporated is beautiful and I love the unique details (especially the postcards). Too many good ones to pick a favorite.

David proposed to Britt with 1000 paper cranes that he folded. The tradition comes from an ancient Japanese legend, which grants the receiver of the cranes with 1000 years of happiness and prosperity.
Love these vintage-inspired images in a cool phone booth. These things are practically vintage!
David brought his bow and arrow and we set up some imaginative theme photos. I love love love this image!
Britt is in medical school and is almost Dr. Brittany! Her wonderful parents bought her this medical bag to keep her supplies in.
Their dog, Tycho, was in tow and was the sweetest thing ever! How cute is it that they all match! oh my gosh! SO fun! what a great couple to photograph and what a sweet story about their engagement... beautiful and creative photos as always, jessica.
(05.16.10)These are all gorgeous! I love the blue mountain wall, the archery and the phonebooth. This is like 4 engagement sessions!

In love with this pic and the incredible backdrop of cherry blossoms!
Zoe is an impressive Mastiff, who's actually the runt! Her mom is 98 lbs! She's a cutiepie!
