Jessica and Kevin are incredibly in love and a super fun couple to be around! We had a blast recently in NW Portland discovering cool walls, doors and some of my favorite trees ever! (Magnolia and Weeping Cherry)  I love the VW Bug photo, so to whomever owns it... thanks for the killer photo op! I'm truly honored that Jessica and Kevin chose me to document their first steps together as husband and wife at the spectacular Zenith vineyards on October 10th! Hope you love the sneak peek :)

Griffin is an extremely talented viola player who is graduating from high school this year to take on the classical music world. We met recently to document both Griffin's senior pics and professional head shots. It was incredible watching him play at the waterside, very surreal! I grabbed a quick photo of Lori, Griffin's mom! Aw  :) Thanks so much Griffin for choosing me to document this monumental time, and for playing the viola for us! I also want to thank Yasmin Khajavi for helping me. Enjoy the sneak peak!

Really great photos Jessica! Love how you incorporated the venue in each photograph. Also, great use of the musical instruments, adds character and story to each portrait.

014.jpg  016.jpg 017.jpg Michelle and Alex have been married for over two years and inquired about an "engagement shoot for married couples" last fall. I love the idea of getting great photos taken of you and your honey long after you've said your I Do's. It's a great time to get photos of you and your spouse for your living room, your family or even your facebook page! It was so great bonding with Alex and Michelle over our hometown of Ann Arbor Michigan! Go Blue! Alex and Michelle practice Kung Fu and ended the session with some beautiful forms. Michelle also manages Oblation, the amazing invite shop and paper boutique in the Pearl, which I highly recommend for save the dates or wedding invites! I also want to thank Chris Jernigan for assisting me! Hope you love the sneak peek Alex and Michelle!

I love these photos Jessica! And I agree - why shouldn't we be photographed after we're married? Keep up the good work!

Michelle:

Great shots, Jessica. We loved working with you -- you are great. And yes, I definitely recommend that married people get photos taken a few (or many) years in. Alex and I had so much fun and talked about our shoot for days afterwards. (The crazy guy, the mud, the cold, the kissing in public:) I can't wait to see all the rest!

About a month after Sarah and Luke's incredible and intimate wedding in the pristine Washington mountains, they planned a reception in the great city of St. Louis, their hometown. All their family and friends greeted them Seattle Style! The reception at the Deer Creek Club was a blast with creative and fun references everywhere! Starbuck Coffee bags and The Seattle Times doubled as vases for the fresh flowers brought from Pike Place Market, rainboots acted as a holder for their guest sign-in pens, and hat umbrellas as party favors! Sarah and Luke are such cool people and their families are a ton of fun!  Erica and I had the honor of traveling to photograph their stellar party and we also got a chance to hang out in this cool city with my friends, Kelda and Michael, whose wedding I photographed back in 2007!  Love it:)
