I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with Kahau, a friend and the catering manager at the amazing Heathman restaurant, and her adorable baby boy Isaiah! I visited her and her husband's beautiful new home to find the cutest bundle of joy waiting for his close up! At only 6 months old, Isaiah has quite the personality:) Thanks so much Kahau for being a gracious hostess and for inviting me to document this precious time in your family's ancestry!

Real Wedding: Sarah and Jerome 3-28-09

Sarah and Jerome and I have been through a total of three amazing weddings together! Mona and Jeff's wedding, John and Jen's wedding, and finally their own incredible wedding! It was such an honor to be photographing their intimate wedding along with their family and friends at the beautiful Arista Ballroom in SE Portland! The day was a bit rainy, but we managed to duck outside for a couple of great portraits. Sarah looked beautiful in her simple and elegant lace gown, and make-up by the wonderful Nicole Wagner, who I recommend highly! The flowers looked incredible and were by Ink & Peat. The ceremony was short and sweet and the party was really fun and filled with great music! Seriously great music included Nouvelle Vague, Siouxsie and the Banshees and M.I.A. Dance Party! Thanks to the talented and fun Chris Jernigan for helping rock out the pics as well! Sarah and Jerome, thanks SO much for choosing me to be a part of your incredibly sweet and fun wedding! Of course I am not at all surprised that these are beautiful! Jessica, you've done it again - captured the sweet little moments that added up to such a magical day. The bride is as lovely and the groom as handsome as they are in person, but even more than that, both of their unique and wonderful personalities shines through as well. Can't wait to see the rest!

Engaged: Jessica & Kevin

Jessica and Kevin are incredibly in love and a super fun couple to be around! We had a blast recently in NW Portland discovering cool walls, doors and some of my favorite trees ever! (Magnolia and Weeping Cherry) I love the VW Bug photo, so to whomever owns it... thanks for the killer photo op! I'm truly honored that Jessica and Kevin chose me to document their first steps together as husband and wife at the spectacular Zenith vineyards on October 10th! Hope you love the sneak peek :)

Griffin's Senior Portraits

Griffin is an extremely talented viola player who is graduating from high school this year to take on the classical music world. We met recently to document both Griffin's senior pics and professional head shots. It was incredible watching him play at the waterside, very surreal! I grabbed a quick photo of Lori, Griffin's mom! Aw :) Thanks so much Griffin for choosing me to document this monumental time, and for playing the viola for us! I also want to thank Yasmin Khajavi for helping me. Enjoy the sneak peak!
