Evan and Suzy... Wow! I'm lucky enough to know this incredible and talented couple and Travis and I had the absolute pleasure of documenting their wedding day in San Fran and Pacifica California. The getting ready pics took place at the Hotel Rex in downtown and the ceremony and reception were at the awe-inspiring Shell Dance Orchid Garden in Pacifica. Suzy looked stunning in her dress by Elizabeth Dye from Portland's own English Department. The flowers and gifted succulents were created by the talented team at Shell Dance. The day ran smoothly with the expert help from Cierra from Dreams on a Dime Coordination. The dinner was an incredible variety of paella and the dancing lasted all night long. The energy, the ocean, the orchids and the life that surrounded this day was a small testament to how inspiring and pure this couple is. I love you guys. Xo Thank you.

When I first met Callie and Andy, I was immediately in love with their style and energy. We both happened to be going to the same show later that evening at the Doug Fir :) (Blonde Redhead was the show, for those curious:) We all met up on Mississippi ave, where they live and where my studio is located, so it's always fun having that connection with the place. Love Cathedral Park and can't wait to work with this lovely, fun, hip and kind couple in 2012!

Erica and Cort are filled with great energy and love and laughter. Their wedding at Skamania Lodge was a lot of fun and style. Even though the day was a bit rainy, we were able to get some great shots of the views of the Columbia River Gorge. I loved the orange and grey color palette and Erica and Cort looked beautiful. The party was really fun and the couple made a DIY photo booth, which kept the laughs and snaps happening. Cupcake Jones created the yummy cupcakes. Thanks so much Erica and Cort for inviting Elijah and I to document your day.

umm... I'm speechless with this one. in LOVE! Tresa and Ted are an incredible couple and Erica and I had a blast photographing their day at the Metolius River Lodges and the House on the Metolius. The location was enchanting with views of Mt. Jefferson and the Cascades. The bride's lovely dress was from Ania Collection, and the groom's rad custom suit was from Duchess Clothier. Tresa and Ted used all local produce and beef and The Well Traveled Fork did a great job catering, the food was delicious! I loved the little friends the couple included in their day like their cute puppy and all the cake toppers and table place cards. Adorable! Thanks SO very much Tresa and Ted, meeting you both and photographing your wedding reminded me why I love my job so much! Thanks!

Kristina and Aaron tied the knot at the lovely Riverplace Hotel in SW Portland. I love this spot, as it's on the water front and the views are lovely. Kristina and Aaron are a fun-loving and creative couple and I loved their Mad-Lib style invite and their VooDoo Doughnut cake, which they requested in their color palette. Elijah and I had a blast photographing their day and thanks K&A for choosing Jessica Hill Photography to document your fun wedding!
