Engaged: Kristen and Jered

Kristen and Jered are an awesome couple, who like to have fun! We explored all over the waterfront and the Pearl and created some really cool backgrounds:) I love the one with the Grizzly Bear posters.. (great band too!) I'm so excited for their August 22nd wedding in Camp Sherman Oregon! We start in cabins and move to the Community Hall, which still holds potlucks, quilt shows and square dancing for the town! :) Thanks so much Kristen and Jared, and hope you love the blog preview! Engaged: Ali and Jared!

Ali and Jared are tying on the knot at the beautiful Garden Vineyards on Aug. 7th, 2009 and I'm honored that I'm the chosen photographer! We had a great time in Laurelhurst Park, located in SE Portland. The light was magical and the flowers were in bloom :) there happened to be chalk on the sidewalk, and we took care of the thank you cards well in advance. (check that off the list!) I also was working with the newest addition to the Jessica Hill Photography team, Leah Verwey! She's a very talented photographer and a very sweet person! We're happy to have her on board and looking forward to taking the 09 Summer by storm! Jared and Ali, you're great fun and I hope you love the post! Looking forward to designing your Guest Book!

Engaged: Camilla and Paul!

Paul and Camilla are an awesome couple that I recently had the pleasure of photographing! The evening was perfect and we had a ton of fun hanging out and creating as many unique backgrounds as possible with the urban setting. Camilla had her makeup and hair done by the lovely Jennifer Rand. Paul and Camilla are planning a 4th of July wedding at Bridal Veil Lakes and I know the wedding will be just as beautiful as this couple! Thank you so much guys and I hope you love the preview!

Real Wedding: Ali and Johnny- 5-7-09

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful and fun wedding, as well as another photographer's sermon.. The Reverend Craig Mitchelldyer. When Craig asked if I would shoot his little sister's wedding, I jumped at the chance! I'm a huge fan of Craig's photo work, and epic lighting skill and I loved meeting his family as well! His darling daughter Jordyn was the flower girl and Grandpa walked Ali down the aisle! Ali and Johnny are a super sweet couple and hosted a beautiful wedding at a stunning location! The ceremony and reception took place on the top deck of The Spirit of Portland. Nicole Wagner did an awesome job on Ali's make-up as well! Thanks so much for the opportunity Craig and Ali and Johnny! It was a lot of fun :)

Engaged: Jillian and Nick

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jillian and Nick's urban E-Session in the Pearl District and Tanner Springs Park, which is in their hood, and mine:) I love this couple's great energy and kindness. We had a great time getting the perfect engagement shot at Bridgetown Brewery! I'm so honored that they chose me to photograph their July 18th wedding at Timberline Lodge!
