Camilla and Paul said their "I Do's" on the 4th of July and Travis and I had the pleasure of photographing their vintage-inspired elegant wedding! The day was beautiful and the wedding was really fun and filled with smiles and laughter. Camilla and Paul had an intimate wedding at the stunning, Bridal Veil Lakes. but first got ready and did a few fun pics at, the always fun, Edgefields, with the talented make-up artist, Jennifer Walker completing Camilla's vintage look with soft and romantic shades.

Considering the history surrounding the 4th, the couple chose to re-create their ceremony to read as though it were in 1776. As soon as they were announced as husband and wife, they exited in a yellow canoe, complete with a parasol. Thanks so much Camilla and Paul or choosing me to document your awe-inspiring wedding!

Amber & Kody are getting married in August at the beautiful Shakespeare Gardens in the International Rose Garden, with a lunch wedding reception at the amazing Portland City Grill. We recently met in SE Portland at Laurelhurst Park with their awesome dogs! (Yes, that's pretty much the cutest puppy you've ever seen!) I love photographing at Laurelhurst because it's a huge, inspiring nature park in he middle of the bustling city. I am super excited and honored to photograph Amber and Kody's wedding on August 3rd. Stay tuned for their wedding post coming soon. Hope you love the sneak peak!

Karissa and Eric are an awesome couple that I had the pleasure of photographing in and around Laurelhurst Park. The evening was perfect and we had a ton of fun hanging out and creating as many unique backgrounds as possible. Karissa and Eric are planning an Autumn wedding at beautiful Adrianna Grand Hill Ballroom, which I'm so excited to be a part of! Thank you so much and I hope you love the preview! Aerin and Jeremy's initmate and unique wedding was just featured in the "Real Weddings" section in the Summer 2009 Portland Bride & Groom Magazine! Their wedding was filled with vintage keys, old photos, typewriters, books, and all things good and interesting. Signs on the tables said "Please Touch" to encourage the guests to interact with the items, as though it were a museum. The unique & beautiful venue,The Portland White House, helped them achieve their look. They have a great story to share about their wedding planning, and the thought that went into the magical day. Aerin and Jeremy also run a design business focused on hip wedding websites and invitations. You can check out the Neo-Victorian themed wedding and learn more about the hip couple by picking up a copy on your local newsstands now! To view the online mini-story, click here. Jessica, you do such amazing work! We love the pics and can't wait to see more. We had such a great time working with you, it was relaxing and fun. It went from "Sit. Sit. Stay....no! Dresden Stay......Puppies! Look over here!" to "Now kiss......hold it.....hold it.......now smile!" We (and the pups) can't wait for the big day!

These pictures are gorgeous! Jessica really captured your personalities (as well as the dogs'). LOVE the black & white shot and the one with Dresden in the foreground guarding the smoochers.
