Oregon Bride Best Of Party

The Oregon Bride Best Of Party was the bridal event of the season! I had the wonderful opportunity to document the day, which included the highly anticipated awards ceremony and fashion show.The night started with a bang at the beautiful Oregon Historical Society with the Heathman Hotel catering, and a killer bar from Fluid Bartending. The decor looked incredible with lush oranges and modern whites. The flowers by Zest set the tone and the coordinating and planning from Bridal Bliss. Both very talented wedding professionals. Cupcake Jones and the Candy Buffet were on deck with yummy treats and a ton of stunning gowns were strutted down the runway from a lot of my favorite bridal boutiques. Hybrid Moon created a fun video and the night was a total success! Thanks for the fun Oregon Bride, and as always, I'm loving the new issue! Michelle and Garrett | Portland Wedding Photographers

Michelle and Garrett's wedding was an awesome day of fun, love and sweetness galore! From the Hilton getting ready, to the Oregon City church and then onto the Grotto, we had a blast photographing this beautiful couple all over the city! The ceremony was held at Saint John the Apostle, Catholic church and the reception took place at the downtown Portland Hilton hotel. The day was incredible and I'm happy that we took advantage of the weather at the Grotto in North Portland. The Grotto is a magical and spiritual place on the outskirts of the city. I highly recommend checking it out! Michelle and the girls had hair and makeup by the talented Face Body Beauty team, flowers by Sammy's. Video by Jason at Steady State Studios. Rachel and John | A Governor Hotel Wedding

Magically elegant are the words that come to mind when I think back at Rachel and John's incredible wedding at the Governor Hotel in late March. The day, the dress, the flowers, the food, the music... It was all perfectly planned and unforgettable! Mike Piper, with An Affair to Remember was the genius behind the day and the gorgeous flowers and decor. Dark Garden created the custom dress for Rachel and it was beyond amazing. I think of it as a modern day Cinderella gown, but better! A stunning bride and groom;) Eric Wight with All Wight Music was the MC and DJ and kept the dancing going all night long. I felt honored to document this fairy tale day and the awesome and fun frog cake, made my Rachel's aunt! (complete with lights and spinning action!) Hope you love the sneak peek R&J and thanks for choosing me to document your first steps together as husband and wife!

Anna and Mikey | A Portland Elopement

Anna and Mikey's wedding was so incredible to witness. I always feel blessed when I'm able to be one of five guests at a wedding! We started in Hoyt Arboretum and they said their vows beneath a beautiful tree, sipped champagne in the rain and snacked on cupcakes! From there we went to the former location of the bike shop they originally met at and it ended up being called the "Love Building" :) he he. They brought out their sweet Schwinn tandem bike and it made for some cute pics! They planned for a lovely dinner at the incredible Irving Street Kitchen and it was a perfect day. Makeup and hair by the lovely and talented Kirstie Wight Makeup. Stunning flowers by Ink and Peat. Her awesome dress by Burberry.
